canceled + renewed TV shows - TV Series Finale

Zero Hour

Zero Hour TV showNetwork: ABC
Episodes: 13 (hour)
Seasons: One

TV show dates: February 14, 2013 — August 3, 2013
Series status: Cancelled

Performers include: Anthony Edwards, Addison Timlin, Carmen Ejogo, Dylan Baker, Jacinda Barrett, Michael Nyqvist, and Scott Michael Foster.

TV show description:
Hank Galliston (Anthony Edwards) is the publisher of Modern Skeptic Magazine. He’s spent his career following clues, debunking myths and cracking conspiracies. But when his beautiful wife, Laila (Jacinda Barrett), is abducted from her antique clock shop, Hank gets pulled into a more compelling mystery than he could have imagined, one that stretches around the world and back centuries.

Contained in one of his wife’s clocks is a treasure map, and what it leads to could be cataclysmic. It’s up to Hank to decipher the symbols and unlock the secrets of the map. While doing so, he must ensure that the answers don’t fall into the wrong hands — like those of a sinister, mysterious man known only as White Vincent (Michael Nyqvist).

Hank, along with his two young associates — Rachel (Addison Timlin) and Arron (Scott Michael Foster)– and FBI agent Rebecca “Beck” Riley (Carmen Ejogo), embark on a race against the clock to not only find his wife, but to save humanity.

Series Finale:
Episode #13 — Spring
Arriving at the entrance to New Jerusalem, Hank, Beck, Arron and the Shepherds know it’s now or never to find Rachael and stop Melanie “Mother” Lynch’s plan before it’s too late. But when the team unlock the doors, what they find is unimaginable. With faith shaken and time running out, it’s up to Hank and the team to take down Lynch and save the world before it’s too late.
First aired: August 3, 2013.

When new shows are aired on network TV I watch the pilot and maybe the following episode or two before asking myself the question “Will I be able to watch three to five, or maybe even seven years of this so called entertainment?” If my answer is no, I drop it like a hot potato, as I did with “Zero Hour.” ABC needs to take a cue from CBS or even hire the writers away from CBS and start airing TV that’s fit to watch!

Never heard of this show till going through on demand. My son said it was new so we watched the first episode & we were hooked! Stayed up till 3 AM watching all 3 then found out it was cancelled!!!??? You people are not only crazy but stupid. I NEVER watch the stupid reality shows I suspect there are plenty of people that love mystery, drama, suspense, & adventure!! HELLO ABC, this show has all 4 + good acting, please find another spot or sell it to a network that will play with the time slot & show it more… Read more »

Ok, intelligent viewer lost again, and the reality show crown wins with no-brainer shows. Anyway, since they are not going to continue it – let me tell you ‘zero hour fans’ how the story unfolds and how it ends. Anthony Edwards is really a clone of the German army who died. They cloned him to continue his spiritual mission. His wife married him as his guardian (she knows about the clocks). He is one of the 12 new apostles of the Rosicrucian group. His mission is to stop the Anti-Christ from getting all 12 clocks. If the clock converges, it… Read more »

I thought this was a great show… After watching the first episode on TiVo I went right into the second one. Usually I watch everything in the order it airs, but I couldn’t wait to see what happened next. I’m extremely bummed to see that this show is cancelled already. :o(

This is a great show! Do not cancel it. My family and I watch this show together every Thursday evening. This show deserves a full season before it is canceled. Lots of shows start slow then really pick up. This may be the case with Zero Hour.

Just like you to cancel another series! Don’t even give it a chance!!!! This is really getting tiresome!!! Why even bother to start new ones if all you are going to do is cancel them!!! This totally sucks!! This was an awsome show. Just getting good. Why cancel?????

I thought the show had intrigue and kept me wanting more but not surprise this time abc has canceled the show Zero Hour in fact all of them are alike so won’t be watching for any new series on abc, cbs, nbc going only to cable ater this or catching up on reading …done and finished watching they have finally lost my interest in these networks and everyone should just turn off your tv put on a radio or read.

I think this could of been a really great show you cant give people 3 episodes and expect them to love it. this show should of least been given a entire season before it was decided to be canceled. i think the acting was a little rough around the edges but with the right kind support and dedication this show could of been amazing. i’m sorry to see it go and i’m really sorry i will never get to see how it ends and the mystery behind the whole thing.

Please Don’t cancel this show. It take 2 or 3 weeks for viewers to get on board. Now they ARE so keep it going. Becareful not to get the drama music too LOUD like the second show. Last nights hints Layla left seemed a little too contrived, but I suppose they MUST move the story along. I love the story line using the old clocks and the 1944 connection and the Germans. Is there a real designer for these clocks used on the show. They do seem intricate. Keep it going.

Had to give up 15 min in on the second episode. Couldn’t hear the dialog over the background noise and music. Somebody needs to get fired.

It’s too good of a show cancel. Those of us who really like it deserve to see all of the episodes available. Seems like ABC has a track record for canceling good shows and replacing them with crap reality tv and game shows. They are shooting themselves in the foot. There are enough of us sick of that kind of stuff who will ultimately cancel ABC for lack of anything good to watch.

Only if I smoke some good kush from Kandahar before watching it, might not even finnish it just up and go to Burger King or Adobo House.
