Last season, NBC tried a very unconventional approach with Aquarius by releasing the entire season online and then airing episodes on television. Supposedly, most people still watched the show on TV (to low ratings). Will the show perform any better in season two? Will it be cancelled or renewed for a third season? Stay tuned.
Set in 1960s Los Angeles, Aquarius, revolves around the generational conflict between an experienced homicide detective (David Duchovny) and an idealistic undercover vice cop (Grey Damon). The rest of the cast includes Gethin Anthony, Emma Dumont, Claire Holt, Michaela McManus, Brian F. O’Byrne, Chance Kelly, Cameron Deane Stewart, and Madison Beaty.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE MORE AQUARIUS , I WATCHED IT FROM START TO FINSH ON NETFLIX ..IT WAS GREAT SHOW .. NETFLIX SHOULD PICK IT UP OR SOMEONE . I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE END IN THE FIFTH SEASON

Aquarius was high quality and addicting television. David Duchovny is so awesome in this role and he has a great supporting cast. It is set amongst the mythology of Charles Manson and the demonic hold he had on that turbulent generation. Great soundtrack as well. We want to see the series go on into the famous trial and into the 70s. Perhaps if the ratings are too low-I understand its not exactly family hpur-NBC and Netflix or Hulu can work something out. It is truly one of the best tv crime dramas ever made!
