TV show description:
A drama, this TV series revolves around two mismatched law enforcement officers. They have polar opposite views of the world and (possibly) a grudging respect for each other’s abilities as they clean up the streets of Battle Creek, Michigan.
Detective Russ Agnew (Dean Winters) is a good but gruff and hard-boiled detective. He’s had his world turned upside down when strikingly handsome and charismatic Special Agent Milton Chamberlain (Josh Duhamel) opens an FBI field office at the police station — and he chooses Russ to be his partner.
Milt’s polished sophistication and access to unlimited state-of-the-art equipment is impressive to his new co-workers in the absurdly underfunded department.
The pair work long hours together in the economically distressed city and it remains to be seen if Milt’s charm and endless supply of high-end resources or Russ’s old-fashioned cynicism, guile and deception will be the keys to catching the bad guys.
Other characters include Commander Guziewicz (Janet McTeer), Detective Fontanelle White (Kal Penn), Holly Dale (Aubrey Dollar), and Aaron Funkhauser (Edward Fordham, Jr.).
Episode #13 — Sympathy for the Devil
Milt survives a car bombing and enlists Russ to track down his would-be assassin, leading to startling revelations as to why Milt is the way he is and what brought him to Battle Creek.
First aired: May 24, 2015.
What do you think? Do you like the Battle Creek TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a second season instead?
“Battle Creek” was not a Sunday night show; wrong night to build an audience. The show improved with each episode–acting always excellent; cast grew more likable and interesting; stories fresh and sympathetic. Liked that city cops and FBI cooperated; tired of FBI being the villain. How can “2 Broke Girls” survive and “Battle Creek” be cancelled? Please get FX or TNT to pick up.

Please do not cancel Battle Creek. It is our favorite show. We look forward to seeing it every Sunday evening. Great cast, lots of humor, so enjoyable to watch.
I cannot believe CBS cancelled Battle Creek. Is there anything fans of the show can do to have the cancellation cancelled? The show is great, the characters are believable and fun to watch, and it has a limited amount of blood and gore, so why not give it more time.

One of he best shows on TV and they cancel it. Maybe TNT could pick it up? It’s too good to let go.
No I enjoyed this show. Funny . My husband and I both like walking it together. Everyone I told about this show likes it. Please keep it on.
Battle Creek is the best new show of the season. Clever writing, interesting characters, funny dialogue, unexpected plot twists, family friendly yet still edgy. Cancelled. Bad ratings? Airing late on Sunday nights is the reason. This terrific show was not given a chance. I guess there were not enough off color jokes or graphic violence to keep it on CBS. Shame.
Has CBS lost its damned mind!? They continue to have about 5 of the same ****** series wth different names but then cancel something as great and original as BattleCreek!??? The cast is perfect and good writing.
Bye Bye CBS
This show is really good and please give it one more year
I am so disappointed this great show is being cancelled. I really look forward to seeing it every week. I love the writing, the characters, and the dynamics between them. I hope CBS reconsiders their position on this and picks up another season. Sunday is not the best day to choose for a new show that needs ratings to continue being aired.
Unbelievable the shoes that are on, but this one gets canceled. Seriously need to reconsider and get going on the marketing
Is there a campaign to save the show? A website to let CBS know this and Blue Bloods are the ONLY shows I watch on their silly network?
Unbelievale. Can’t believe it is canceld. We need another network t pick it up PLEASE
love Battle Creek- please don’t cancel !
Show was moved a few times or not shown…wasn’t on. Takes a while to build the relationships. Good show, need shows like this not only true stories, scarey, or require deep concentration.
I am really disappoined that they cancelled this show. I thought it was well acted and well directed. Some shows have to grow an audience but will prove successful in the long run.
I hope another network will pick up the show.
