TV show description:
A drama, this TV series revolves around two mismatched law enforcement officers. They have polar opposite views of the world and (possibly) a grudging respect for each other’s abilities as they clean up the streets of Battle Creek, Michigan.
Detective Russ Agnew (Dean Winters) is a good but gruff and hard-boiled detective. He’s had his world turned upside down when strikingly handsome and charismatic Special Agent Milton Chamberlain (Josh Duhamel) opens an FBI field office at the police station — and he chooses Russ to be his partner.
Milt’s polished sophistication and access to unlimited state-of-the-art equipment is impressive to his new co-workers in the absurdly underfunded department.
The pair work long hours together in the economically distressed city and it remains to be seen if Milt’s charm and endless supply of high-end resources or Russ’s old-fashioned cynicism, guile and deception will be the keys to catching the bad guys.
Other characters include Commander Guziewicz (Janet McTeer), Detective Fontanelle White (Kal Penn), Holly Dale (Aubrey Dollar), and Aaron Funkhauser (Edward Fordham, Jr.).
Episode #13 — Sympathy for the Devil
Milt survives a car bombing and enlists Russ to track down his would-be assassin, leading to startling revelations as to why Milt is the way he is and what brought him to Battle Creek.
First aired: May 24, 2015.
What do you think? Do you like the Battle Creek TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a second season instead?
Defiantly Renew, Bring it back, the characters were great Josh & Dean were great team, it was just getting started. I don’t know why the networks always do this. You get a great show and dump it and keep the crap.
WHAT….Cancelled; At the end of the day one wants to clear their mind with entertainment that stimulates the mind. Battle Creek did that with the diverse and corky people just like we live and work with. Bring it back.
It should have had a second season the show was amazing and we’re only just starting to get to know the characters.
This show was great – funny, smart, sweet. Dean Winters is always good and the stories were smart. Bring it back please.
I love this show! We just binge watched the whole series on Netflix this week and were so disappointed to learn it got cancelled. Hope they bring it back.
It should have been renewed
I am 75 years old and I fell ln love again!! With Battle Creek – and all its characters. Please reconsider the cancellation of this great show. It has been a long time since I have seen such great teamwork among stars. The fact that the story lines were also pretty darn good makes it even sadder that someone in t.v. producing land decided it was all over. Please reconsider and bring this terrific show back for another season.
Just started watching the show on Netflex and I love it. Should be renewed.
bring it back! Just watched it on Netflix and fell in love.
Seems like every time a GREAT show is on the air, the idiots cancel it! This is a wonderful show – fresh, funny, good chemistry between actors. The story lines are interesting and keep you guessing what is going to happen next. Sad to see it go, one of my favorites – had to watch it again on Netflix.
Great show, amazing chemistry among cast. Disappointed it’s cancelled, had become my favorite.
Great show! Not on long enough for network to shut it down.
Very upset it was cancelled! Very well done. Great writing and actors.
I loved this show!
Disappointed to see show cancelled I enjoyed it
