Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders follows the specialized International Division of the FBI. The members are tasked with solving crimes and coming to the rescue of Americans who find themselves in danger while abroad. The drama stars Gary Sinise, Alana De La Garza, Daniel Henney, Annie Funke, and Tyler James Williams.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. A 1.29 is still good enough for renewal. With 2 episodes left, it looks like it will be back next season.
What a waste of Sinese’s talent. The other actors are immature; nearly all the other countries are shown in a negative light.
Gave up. On this show. Tried to like it. Thought the travel would be good but it looks too “back lot”
I like the show. Started slow but improving. Sinise and Garza are great. Please give the show another season to get its footing.
I would agree that this show is xenophobic and that the acting is poor, with the exception of Garza and Sinise. That being said, I think this show could be fixed. However, I’m unsure that Beyond Borders can be run alongside Criminal Minds. Better writing and more excitement might require the services the same quality writers as CM.
I really like Gary Sinise. That makes this show that much more disappointing. The acting in it is generally terrible with the exceptions of Sinise and Henney. The writing / directing is phony and stilted. I won’t be watching it again. 🙁
Good plot-Horrrrrrible acting
There are lots of problems with this show. First, I’m not crazy about the implied xenophonia, i.e. the world beyond the US borders is dangerous. The characters aren’t very interesting either or even likable, not that they’re unlikable. Episode 6 is my last episode. It’s a show that, if it continues this way, should be cancelled.

I like the show it has good plots in every episode and I think it should be renewed for a second season
I really like Gary Sinise, the show is okay. One bone to pick: The female lead speaks the language and intimately understands the culture of every country they visit. If such a person exists, I would think she would better serve the world as Secretary of State.
It takes a lot more than language skills for that job.
Give me a break … it is just a TV show, a mystery/crime show … not a reality show. And there ARE people who study the languages and cultures of many other countries. I know two people who have done this and they have both been teachers in several countries.
Great new show. Pilot was kind of weak but the show has been developing and gets much more entertaining every week. Last weeks double episode of Japan and France are excellent.
Keep it I wish more shows like beyond borders and criminal minds would come out. I love these shows
I love Gary Sinise and Alana dela garza. They have great chemistry in this show. You should definitely keep it around for a second season along with Criminl Minds. Am going to miss Morgan, but bring back Prentiss and the show will continue to rule the roost
I like Gary Sinise, but I find myself bored with the show. I haven’t been able to sit through a full episode yet. Likely this show will drop off my to-watch list.
The show is great, love the cast and the different countries . I also enjoyed the stories.
