Starz has decided not to order a fourth season of their Da Vinci’s Demons TV show. The third season, which starts airing on Saturday, October 24th, will be the end.
Via a statement, Starz Managing Director Carmi Zlotnik said, “The steadfast fans of Da Vinci’s Demons have been asking about the next installment of this story and we’re excited to roll it out. David Goyer brought us a plan to portray the unknown early years of a genius and we think the fans will enjoy this final chapter which segues into the da Vinci that history knows.”
Series creator and executive producer David S. Goyer noted, “While ending Leonardo’s journey is bittersweet for me, I’m happy we’re ending the story on a high note. Leonardo was famous for his mirror-writing, and there’s a symmetry to the entire series — between the first episode and the final one — that I think the maestro would have appreciated. I want to thank our dedicated fans around the world for viewing and engaging with such passion. I want to thank Starz for joining me on this crazy romp. And I want to thank Tom Riley for turning in a consistently brilliant performance. It’s no small feat to portray a genius, but Tom did it with grace and humor. I hope everyone enjoys these final episodes as much as we enjoyed making them.”

I was trying to find a tv show that had some intelligence to it and found it with this one. Very sad to see it go. exceptional.

I hate to see this end. Its brilliant and so different from the Ho-hum normal things that are on. Its excellent and I not only would watch another season, I have BOUGHT all three seasons since I have only an antenna and not any satellite or cable channels. So YES…I would want another season and another after that.

Most people didn’t even know about this series. Once told, everyone is addicted! This is truly a series that must continue. The story is riveting as is the acting. Let us all begin a campaign to bring Da Vinci back to life!

Sad but satisfied!
So sad that there is not going to be a season 4. It is a great story with fabulous characters. Why do all the good show die young?
I love all the characters in Da Vinci’s Demons. It is a great story. So much more depth could go on to tell the tale of all these characters. It deserved so much more.

I loved the show and am sorry to see it end. I watched every episode of season three and was hoping that there would be more seasons. That is how I found this site, I googled to see if there will be more seasons.
I watched the whole 3rd season of Da’vinci’s Demons and loved it. But there is sooo..much more story left, that being the confrontation between Riario and Leo. I would say at least 2 or 3 more seasons would suffice this alone. Would be interesting…..
