It’s the end of the line for the Dallas TV show — for the second time. TNT has announced that they’ve cancelled the new Dallas TV show after three seasons.
A continuation of the successful CBS series from the 1970s, 80s and 90s, Dallas follows the machinations of two generations of the dysfunctional and powerful Ewing clan. The cast includes Josh Henderson, Jesse Metcalfe, Jordana Brewster, Julie Gonzalo, Brenda Strong, Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray, Mitch Pileggi, Emma Bell, Kuno Becker, and Juan Pablo Di Pace.
Year-to-year, season three of Dallas was down by 26% in viewership and down by 38% in the 18-49 demographic. It’s one of TNT’s lowest-rated scripted series and that certainly wasn’t a good sign for its chances of a fourth season.
In a statement, TNT said, “We are extremely proud of the series, which defied expectations by standing as a worthy continuation of the Ewing saga. We want to thank everyone involved with the show, from the extraordinary cast to the impeccable production team, led by the show’s creative forces, Cynthia Cidre and Mike Robin. We especially want to thank the people of Dallas for their warm and generous hospitality during the production of the series.”
Cidre and the writers have been working on scripts and ideas for a fourth season of Dallas so hopefully she’ll share what would have happened at some point.

I am so heartbroken that Dallas has been cancelled!! I have loved watching that show from the very beginning.
EVERYONE IN GEORGIA LOVED DALLAS. WE ARE UPSET TO THINK IT WILL NOT BE BACK. FIRST OF ALL YOU DID NOT LET IT RUN BUT A FEW WEEKS EACH SEASON. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN WEEKLY AND WOULD HAVE GOTTEN MORE PEOPLE WATCHING. I WOULD WATCH ON ANY CHANNEL PLEASE BRING IT BACK.
Flat out, I’m a Dallas fan. No dilly dallying. Cancelling Dallas was a crime. TNT should not be watched because of what they did. Burns me up. Such a great show. Wish it was back on the air.
I would really like for Dallas to come back for another season, how am I supposed to find out what happened after ya’ll blew up Christopher! You left me hanging by the balls and they’re starting to hurt! Should at least run another episode so I can find out if he is alive. Hell yes, bring it back. Dallas was a hot ticket for me. Due to my work schedule I always had to watch some on demand so many episodes are so good I watching 2 or 3 times.

We loved the show it was done so well. Certainly will miss it. The last show didn’t wrap anything up other then it looked like Bobbys was killed off I hope not.. What a great bunch of actors.
Viewers normally expect some successful relationships, but instead, poor script writing created only endless stalemates, topped off with the car blow – up. That one screenwriting “crime” actually demands an OWED TO THE VIEWERS new season to finish what you started. The real truth is that the network was not responsible enough to merit demand make it good, and you guys were too cheap and irresponsible to make it right.
What we have here is an untrustworthy NETWORK!
I absolutely loved the show!! The cast was amazing and I was extremely saddened to know that Dallas was cancelled. I hope there are enough fans out there that want the show back.

I truly hope the show continues. I use to watch the original Dallas with my parents and when they remade it in my generation it was awesome! The cast is amazing & attractive which made it all more appealing. You can’t do this to fans and leave us this way. This really would be extremely upsetting. I want to know what would’ve happened. Please bring them back!!!!?!!!!
