The doctor is out. Deadline reports HLN has cancelled Dr. Drew.
The current affairs program, also called Dr. Drew On Call, featured Dr. Drew Pinsky discussing health and addiction topics. The show began in 2011. Pinsky has also appeared in the VH1 reality series Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew and its spin-off, Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew.
The cancellation comes after it was announced CNN’s Ashleigh Banfield would be moving to HLN this fall. Dr. Drew will air its final show on September 22nd.
