Ashley Zukerman has been cast in the Four Stars TV series pilot at CBS. Zukerman played Charlie Isaacs on the Manhattan TV series, which was cancelled by WGN America, after two seasons. That ’70s Show‘s Wilmer Valderrama was the first actor cast in the pilot as Matt Rodriguez, son of a four-star General.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Zukerman has been cast as the rough-edged, swaggering Danny Buckley son of another four-star General.
CBS ordered Four Stars last month. Writer Becky Mode is executive producing with Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly. Nashville‘s RJ Cutler is set to executive produce as well as direct.
THR says, “The drama revolves around two powerful rival families in the military community of Tampa, Fla., who make decisions at the highest levels in the interest of national security.”
What do you think? How do you like the cast of the Four Stars TV show pilot, so far? If CBS orders it to series, do you plan to check it out?
