On Frequency, one of the characters is able to change the past. Will this new TV show from The CW be a success in the ratings or will the execs wish they could go back in time — and change their decision to greenlight the series? Will it be cancelled or renewed for a second season? Stay tuned.
A sci-fi mystery drama, Frequency revolves around a young police detective (Peyton List). She manages to communicate with her deceased father (Riley Smith) through time but there are serious and unforeseen consequences to her actions. Can they rewrite the story of their lives without risking everyone else they love? The rest of the cast includes Devin Kelley, Anthony Ruivivar, Mekhi Phifer, Lenny Jacobson, and Daniel Bonjour.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/8 update: Frequency has been cancelled. There will be no season two on The CW. Details here.
1/26 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated charts, please try reloading the page. You can also see them here.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Frequency TV series on The CW? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Wow I love this show! Plenty of twists and turns. Great adaption of the movie several years ago. Actually I like this much better. After watching Timeless at the scheduled time, I later watched this “on demand.” This is what I watch at scheduled time now. Sometimes ‘on demand’ skips an episode here and there and I don’t want to miss even one episode of Frequency.
Love this show!!! It’s one of the better ones on tv!
Hi, my name is Jorge Armstrong-Perez, and I would like to say that I love Jeremy Carver’s new show, Frequency. I am a huge fan of Jeremy Carver having seen Supernatural, and loving his ideas and how he has driven Supernatural as showrunner to success! I am asking that you please do not cancel his new show Frequency due to faithful and loyal fans of Jeremy Carver, such as I who, would hate to see Frequency off the air and cancelled. It is a great idea for a show the one he has created for Frequency and I would like… Read more »
This would be the best new police style series available, Frequency should be a big success with all who watch it. I can just hope there will be many seasons of Frequency as i will be watching them.
the CW renewed shows last season with ratings this pathetic and worse. As long as it stays above a 0.30, why won’t they renew it?
I love it. Very interesting and holds more intrigue than “Timeless.” I hope it will go on.
Please do not cancel! Bring on season 2.
I watched it on demand. Love it
Love this series, keeps getting better & better? Don’t understand the low ratings. Not enough buzz about it or just need to get a different audience watching??
This is a great show, close to the original movie which I’ve seen more than any other but still enough changes to make it new and refreshing. I hope it can hang on.
Not even! I understand WHY CW choose to have a “female” instead of a male lead like in the movie version which was great. Still; one of the problems, I believe is due to the fact that it’s a female instead of a male that’s causing LOW RATINGS but overall, it’s just NOT a good series at all.
Love the series..Hope there’s a season 2
I am loving this series ……..just came across it tonight now I am addicted
Oh my, lower ratings!
That’s great TV right there.
its awesome – keep it up
