Though the TV series has been cancelled by Disney Channel, it seems Girl Meets World still has a chance. The series’ co-creator and showrunner, Michael Jacobs, says that discussions are underway with “interested platforms” to pick up Girl Meets World for a fourth season.
A Disney Channel coming-of-age story, Girl Meets World is a sequel to Boy Meets World, which ran on ABC, from 1993 to 2000. The sitcom centers on Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga’s (Danielle Fishel) daughter, Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard). The friendship Riley shares with Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) sees both girls through all kinds of new experiences. Together, they’re learning who they are as well as who they want to be. Girl Meets World also stars Peyton Meyers as Lucas Friar, Corey Fogelmanis as Farkle Minuks, and August Maturo as Auggie Matthews.
Jacobs has said that they suspected that season three might be the end of Girl Meets World so the writers crafted a third season finale that could serve as a last episode. Airing on January 20th, the episode titled “Girl Meets Goodbye” features a huge Boy Meets World reunion, with appearances from Mr. Feeny (William Daniels), Minkus (Lee Norris), Alan (William Russ), Amy (Betsy Randle), Eric (Will Friedle), Mr. Turner (Anthony Quinn), Shawn (Rider Strong), Harley (Danny McNulty), and both Morgans (Lily Nicksay and Lindsay Ridgeway).
Still, some fans of the show are clearly not ready to say goodbye to the show and have been working to let various outlets know they’d like to see a fourth season.

i loved Girl Meets World and always will . I know it’s been a year since it got canceled , but still hope there is a chance to revive the show. The show had a very a good message to put across and had a great impact on many teens who watched the show. I hope they can bring it back. We need it . bring ’em back
There needs to be more than 3 seasons even more than 4!! We need them back!!

I really like Girl Meets World and when I heard they were cancelling it, I was very disappointed. I hope they continue making the show.
I would love to see Girl Meets World carry itself onto a new season. That show has helped shape my childhood. I have watched every episode from start to finish and I still watch the reruns to this day. Yes, I would love to see a new season . This is my favorite show and I would love to see more!
It would be cool if they put this anywhere, but Disney so that we can get more 4 seasons and they can go as dark as they want to.

Please renew this show. I have been a lifelong fan of Boy Meets World and I absolutely love Girl Meets World. It’s too soon to see it go.
I think girl meets world should be renewed for more seasons . I watch boy meet world til it ended . and watch girl meet world from the first show . so please keep it on .
I would definitely LOVE to see more Girl Meets World. I would like to see them graduate and explore their futures. At least when Disney Channel cancelled Austin and Ally they gave us a look at the future. I want to see more…especially college, marriages and where they all end up. #GMWSEASON4ORMORE #SAVEGMW
I would love to see more of Girl Meets World. It would be amazing to get to see them at least through high school. I have enjoyed watching there characters develop, especially Riley and Smackle I’d like to see how things turn out for them, Lucas and Farkle. Still hoping for a miracle.
I am so hoping there will be another season and maybe more of this show. I love the life lessons that are taught each week and the unbreakable relationship between the friends especially Riley and Maya…. Please bring this show back
Yes. it’s amazing and needs to go on for MORE than 4 seasons. Disney Channel stupidly caps their shows and doesn’t allow them to truly grow.
Netflix/Hulu/Amazon needs to pick up Girl Meets World. It has so much potential and a lot of amazing stories to tell.
As someone who grew up watching Boy Meets World, I was skeptical about a re-make. But I was pleasantly surprised, and I was looking forward to a series with as much longevity as the original series. I LOVE Girl Meets World, and am not ready to see it leave yet!!!
