Grimm fans may get a chance of seeing David Giuntoli back on the small screen. The actor has been cast in a new pilot for CBS titled Mission Control. Grimm will end its sixth and final season later this month.
TV Guide shared all of the details about the possible new CBS series and Giuntoli’s role on it. The following was revealed:
“David Giuntoli, who plays the creature-hunting star in the supernatural procedural, won’t be unemployed for long at all. He’s been scooped up by CBS to play a handsome space cowboy in the drama pilot Mission Control.”

I’m eager to see Mission Control and I miss David from Grimm. I hope it airs in 2018/19 since this has been in the works awhile. I really hope it doesn’t die on the vine.
We will miss this series but we are looking forward to the new series Mission Control. Hope to see all of these actors in new and upcoming pilots.

I am already mourning the end of Grimm. It is such a great cast and so very interesting. I also join others here in wanting a spin off for the other characters we have come to love. Of course I know that to be a long shot but it certainly would be nice to have the exec’s listen to the actual viewers of their product. But I do love Poppy & I could see her fitting nicely with David so I certainly will view the new show.

I’m glad he’s getting a chance to act with Poppy but I’m still sad and angry that Grimm is going off the air. What about all the other characters like Monroe and Rosales? Love them as well as Wu and Hank. What about Truble. Really loved her. What about a spin-off?
Why is Grimm ending, when there are so many fans of the show?
Please reconsider, and give us another year!!!
CBS consistently has good, intelligent dramas and quirky, fresh comedies. I look forward to trying this new shoes. Sounds less formula and more intelligent.
