Hexenbiests and Blutbaden and Grimms, oh my! Renewed in February 2015, NBC‘s Grimm returns for a fifth season, Friday, October 30, 2015 at 9:00pm ET/PT; 8:00pm Central. Fans believed in this supernatural procedural from the start. At first though, NBC was so cautious with it, that Grimm always seemed in danger of being cancelled. Grimm is one of those series which has defied conventional wisdom. When stuck in the Friday night death slot, Grimm refused to give up the ghost. Ratings-wise, it is on Fridays where Grimm has held its own. Grimm‘s season four ratings averaged a 1.15 in the all-important 18-49 demo.
It is fitting that Grimm has flown under the radar into season five. Star David Giuntoli’s Nick Burkhardt has spent four seasons trying to do the same. While Nick is employed as a homicide detective, his true vocation is that of a Grimm. A Grimm is a human with the strength and skill to keep in check the Wesen — real-world creatures documented in the Brothers Grimm’s fairytales (and other folklore). While being a Grimm complicates Nick’s professional life, his job often enables him to fulfill his Grimm duties. In addition to Giuntoli, the Grimm cast through the years includes: Russell Hornsby, Bitsie Tulloch, Silas Weir Mitchell, Reggie Lee, Sasha Roiz, Bree Turner, Claire Coffee, and Jacqueline Toboni. Just turned 60 a couple of months ago and am just 1 more person well past the 18 to 49 target audience who fell in love with the “Grimm’ series right from the pilot episode. I love the main characters and truly enjoy the friendship between Nick, Juliet, Monroe & Rosalee. I
was also delighted when Alexis Denisof joined the cast as ‘Viktor’ (Prince Viktor Beckendorf,) I enjoyed his roles and his versatility way back in ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ and its spin-off, ‘Angel.’
I just turned 67. I started watching Grimm in the 1st season and look forward to each one. I like watching it on DVD when it is released so I can see them all at once. Thank you for a great show..Keep them coming…Loved the ending of season 4.
I really enjoy Grimm! I too am not in that age range, sitting at 55! Remember our generation grew up with The Munsters and The Adams Family, it just the next step up for us!! Excited about the new season.

I’ve watch Grimm from the first season. I enjoy the concept. I enjoy a scare or too now and then..it’s not just for that 18-49 group I’m 63 thank you!!!!

This has been a great show from the start and keeps getting better each season!!!! It changes and goes in new directions and is just done so well it’s amazing. I wish it started the new season sooner. The wait is killing me. I miss Juliet. Her character is so cool now! Keep it going for many more seasons.
My wife and love this show and we have told everybody about it and they watch to it such a great concept .we hope there will be a season 6 & 7 to keep it going we love it
