canceled + renewed TV shows - TV Series Finale

Limitless: Cancelled? No Season Two on CBS But…

by Cindy McLennan, May 18, 2016

Limitless TV show on CBS: season 1 (canceled or renewed?).

Limitless is cancelled on CBS. The drama series is not included in the CBS 2016-2016 Primetime Lineup. At the CBS Upfronts, though, boss Les Moonves said they were shopping the series around. Per a Variety report, CBS Entertainment chief Glenn Geller said, “Right now we’re in discussions with other potential buyers.”

The Limitless TV series cast includes: Jake McDorman, Jennifer Carpenter, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, Hill Harper, and Colin Salmon. According to the report, contrary to recent speculation, Moonves said streaming the second season of Limitless on the CBS All-Access subscription service is not an option.

What do you think? Are you a fan of the Limitless TV show? What channel or streaming service do you think would be a good fit for the sci-fi comedy drama?

Really annoyed about this. Another smart, quirky show gone (RIP Forever and Pushing Daisies). How about shopping it to FX, AMC or TNT?

My husband and I are hooked on this show having recorded the whole season and now watching 2-3 episodes per night. Certainly want it to continue somewhere. I will follow it anywhere. Netflix would be great

Really enjoy the show and his personality. I agree with Isaura that I’ll watch it anywhere as long as I don’t have to pay extra for it.

I can’t believe CBS isn’t renewing this show. They are making a big mistake. I will watch it on any network it airs. Remind me not to watch any other CBS programs now that this is gone!

CBS is a cowardly network. This show averages 7 million something viewers every time it airs but god forbid a show doesn’t fall into their over 55 box. shame on the limitless creative team who tried creative and innovative ways of spicing up the trite CBS procedural format. CBS says they want to skew younger but they shipped one show off to the CW and want to shop this (because they know it has value but letting the show grow and find its audience, who has time for that, but hey lets renew Code Black, the blue hairs gotta get… Read more »

Put it anywhere and I will watch it. One of the best new shows last year. So of course it gets cancelled.

Netflix or CW. CW’s general low budget wouldn’t be a big deal since Limitless’ special effects can be done by a 12-year old with sony vegas, while netflix would probably be the best for Limitless’ demographi

Agree, let CW cheapen Supergirl (sad, sad, sad, great show at least it was); and Limitless really jazzed it up with some classy clever writing. Netflix would be a great home.

Tbh, Limitless started off rly promising but went down the drain pretty quickly… I thought it’s storytelling was unique, but after awhile they started to throw pretty much anything at the wall to see what would stick.
