A couple weeks ago, FOX decided to cut the episode order for the first season of Minority Report from 13 to 10 episodes. So, has the show been cancelled?
Set in Washington D.C. 2065, Minority Report follows Lara Vega (Meagan Good), a homicide detective who becomes connected with Dash (Stark Sands). He’s a psychic “precog” who’s haunted by images of future crimes and is on a mission to stop them from happening. The rest of the cast includes Nick Zano, Laura Regan, Wilmer Valderrama, Daniel London, Li Jun Li, Zhane Hall, and Tina Lifford.
The series debuted on September 21st to a 1.11 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.1 million viewers. That was a very disappointing debut, especially for a high profile series that was given a lot of promotion from the network. The ratings dropped nearly 20% in week two and then fell about the same amount again in week three.
They evened off in week four but last Monday’s installment hit another new low — falling to an embarrassing 0.58 in the demo with just 1.82 million.
With such terrible ratings, there’s no chance that the network will be considering ordering a second season. At this point, with ratings this low, it’s very possible FOX execs will pull Minority Report off the schedule earlier than planned. At the moment, there’s only one more episode on the schedule.
While the network has not officially admitted that Minority Report has been cancelled (there’s no benefit for them to do so), it surely has been. Production is wrapping with episode 10 and no further episodes will be ordered.

I love the show. Please bring it back. It is one of e very few things I would watch on abc or fox, after castle got cancelled.
Bring the show back. It was amazing. The ending was left too open for interpretation. We all want to know what happens next. The best shows are always ended too soon and some of the worst go on too long. #BringBackMinorityReport
I wanted to see what was going to happen next? Would Dash be put “back” into the milky bath to work with pre-crimes? The fact that they were ‘hidden’ in plain sight gave the sitcom substance to avoid authorities wanting to (capture) them to abuse their pre-cog powers.
Love the show. Bring it back!
Great TV show. Lots of interesting ideas. WIth a lot of the garbage there is on TV these days it would be a waste to cancel this.
Please bring back this show either as a hulu or netflix exclusive no one really watches tv when it’s easier to stream especially a great show like this
Great show! It was a weekly staple for me. Always made sure i was free to watch it. Good story line and the acting wasnt bad. Interesting characters, good and bad…BRING IT BACK!!!
I honestly don’t know what people are looking for in a TV show if this show is canceled. Do we just want reality TV?-which is anything BUT real. Or do we just want bloody shows with bad language that is hurting our children? At least this show was ok to watch with kids and wasn’t plastered with half dressed women. I don’t get it. If this is a bad show- what do they consider to be a good show????
It’s all about the ratings not the show itself. That’s all the networks care about $$.
Great show didnt know its was on tv continue with show. I will watch maybe they should do better trailers so it will catch ppl eye!!! Saw it on hulu and i loved it bring back the show!!!

One of the main person has to go, Stark Sands, if the show would continue. The guy looks and acts so stupidly like an infant in the adult world. The role is irritating, made me want to not watch the show.
