FOX cancelled the Minority Report TV series after one season of 10 episodes, cut down from an original order of 13. Now, star Meagan Good is making good. She has been cast in a recurring role on the freshman CBS medical drama, Code Black.
Good will join the cast of Code Black, including: Marcia Gay Harden, Bonnie Somerville, Raza Jaffrey, Melanie Chandra, Harry Ford, Benjamin Hollingsworth, William Allen Young, and Luis Guzmán.
Deadline says:
Good will play Dr. Grace Adams, the ex-flame of Neal (Raza Jaffrey) and a fearless and ambitious attending physician who recently returned to Angels Memorial after volunteering a year of humanitarian work in Haiti. Her character will be introduced in the February 10 episode. […]
Good, who plays Lara Vega in Fox’s Minority Report, also recurred on Raising Dad, Deception, Californication, Mr. Robinson, and All That Matters, among others.
What do you think? Were you a fan of the cancelled Minority Report TV show? Should it have been renewed? Will you follow Ms. Good to Code Black on CBS?
I would love the show to be renew find a different main character Ms. Good was ok but there another young star dying for a chance. I been looking forward to a new season my wife and I use that time watching that show to get some relax time for the kids.
Please bring back minortiy report!!! Epic show! Cast is amazBalls!
Boooo! Yet another medical drama continuing to break through instead of a legitimate Sci-Fi series that didnt get a chance, YAY!<— (extreme sarcasm) Minority Report was a great show with a concept that could have created multiple seasons. Granted the first couple episodes were slow but most new series start off that way in order to develop character and an overall premise to a show going forward. They could have at least carried on to a full 13 episode season and wrapped up loose ends instead of giving the viewer a complete cliff hanger at the end of episode 10.… Read more »
OMG!! I just watched this the entire season in one day. This show is amazing!! I can’t believe they cancelled another great show!
This show was amazing!! Why did they have to cancel it after just one SEASON!!! FOX stop closing down good shows like this one and give it a chance.
Oh nooo! This show is amazing, don’t cancelled it!
Bummer. I’ve been working 6 days a week since last March and it had been sitting on the DVR. I finally got a chance to catch up decide that I like it, but it looks like it won’t be returning. I have no interest in yet another medical drama.
Sorry to hear!! :- ( Really!! I want to see what happened..let it play out.
I really enjoyed this show. I wish it wasn’t cancelled.
Not officially cancelled yet…
Point taken, Nonya. The thing is, the initial series order was for 13 episodes. That was cut down to ten episodes. That tenth episode aired in November. Production hasn’t started on additional episodes. That I know of, no additional episodes have been ordered. The series is not scheduled on FOX’s winter/spring 2016 schedule. Now the series lead has taken a recurring role on another show — on another network. Networks don’t always make official cancellation statements. FOX used to cancel shows more quickly and obviously. I’ve watched a number of FOX series that were outright and officially cancelled after 4… Read more »
Sorry to read that Minority Report has officially been canceled. I liked the show and felt that it took until episode 10 for the show to finally reach it’s stride. Happy for the actress.
Hi Karen. As Nonya notes, there was never an official cancellation statement. This is one of those cases in which actions are louder than words. Please see my above response to Nonya.
