TNT recently wrapped the first season of Monday Mornings, their latest medical drama. Should it return for a second season or be cancelled instead?
Monday Mornings follows the lives of the talented yet flawed doctors at the Chelsea General Hospital in Portland, Oregon. The title refers to the tough peer review meetings that are run by the hospital’s sarcastic Chief of Staff. The cast includes Ving Rhames, Jamie Bamber, Jennifer Finnigan, Bill Irwin, Keong Sim, Sarayu Rao, Emily Swallow, and Alfred Molina.
The show started off the season with just 1.36 million viewers and a 0.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic. That was less than half of what the Dallas premiere lead-in drew with 2.98 million and a 0.8 demo rating.
The numbers for Monday Mornings didn’t get much better as the weeks wore on. The season ended up averaging just 1.39 million viewers and a 0.3 in the demo.
Given these numbers, it seems highly unlikely that Monday Mornings will be back for a second season.

This was a great show! I loved Alfred Molina’s character. I am a physician and can remember being grilled during my residency. This was a crime that it was cancelled.
after seeing this series, no one that I recommended to ever returned with anything short of thanks and longing for more. it will only be unfair to bring us to knowing such taste and then denying us the surfeiting dose.

i have been looking for more episodes and 2 season of this movie all over, where can i get them, have watched season 1 up to episode 10, I REALLY BEG RENEW FOR SEASON 2

I think this is by far the most interesting medical related series I have watched, better than the Grey’s Anatomy. I would love it if there was a season 2
One of the best shows on TV…intelegently written, performed with talent…thoroughly enjoyable…with human interest and always a lesson.
Why this was terminated and others renewed defies common sense.
Is there any chance it could make a come-back??

the best medical series for years and you cancel after one series I only saw it because somebody mentioned it but loved every episode do yourself a favour and bring it back with a decent amount of advertising and you will have a hit on your hands thank tou

This really irritates me, they cancel an excellent show like Monday Mornings! I was prepared to give up Monday Night Football and I haven’t missed very many MNF games. It takes something very serious for me to miss MNF. I told all my family and friends they needed to see Monday Mornings, then the last three episodes were pre-empted in my area for some odd ball crap. One was for President Obama and in my eyes the only thing important enough for him to displace a show like Monday Mornings, would be him announcing his resignation!!
