A couple years ago, ABC aired a Canadian crime drama called Motive during the summer months. The network ran the series for two summers before dropping it after August 2014, most likely because of poor ratings.
However, Motive continued to be produced and aired in Canada but most TV viewers in the United States couldn’t continue to watch the show on television — until now.
USA Network has picked up Motive and will start airing episodes tomorrow night (April 1st). The cable channel is picking up where ABC left off and will be airing the third season. The cast includes Kristin Lehman, Louis Ferreira, Brendan Penny, Lauren Holly, Warren Christie and Roger Cross.
If you want to catch up, USA has posted the second seasons’ episodes online. They’ve also posted recaps of the first season’s installments.
The fourth (and final) season of Motive is currently airing in Canada. It will be interesting to see how long it will be before USA airs those episodes.

I didn’t like the show at all. It was a bit dry to me. Put it this way, when I’m having a moment of insomnia I tune into Motive so it will put me to sleep.

OMG! Thank you, thank you, thank you, USA. Motive is such a great series. It has a niche no other show has, Can’t believe ABC cancelled it. Not very bright. Hope it runs for years pass it’s fourth season. Love USA!!

I don’t know if we get the USA network in Canada..but, certainly will watch Motive if we do. It is such a good show, good casting and really good stories.
yes I did watch the TV show Motive on ABC and absolutely loved it and I’m excited that USA is picking it up and I hope they continue to show that TV show for many more years
