Is Morena Baccarin leaving Gotham? Variety reports NBC is developing a new TV series with the actress.
From writer Ken Sanzel, the legal drama “follows a former police officer turned high-powered attorney, played by Baccarin (the character’s name is also Morena), who navigates the ever-changing landscape of New York City politics, law enforcement and the justice system, all while juggling a complicated personal life.”
Baccarin is set to executive produce the project alongside Sanzel, Tony Krantz, and Elliot Halpern. If the untitled drama is picked up by NBC, Baccarin will be reduced to a recurring star on Gotham. If the show isn’t picked up, she’ll continue as a series regular on the FOX series.

Gotham ratings seem to be going down,as is all Fox shows.She’s probably making sure she’s hot something to fall back on if Gotham is cancelled,which I pray it isn’t.As far as watching her in a new show…..nah!I did like her in Deadpool and love her in Gotham.I just feel she is giving a “no faith” signal for Gotham,which rubs me the wrong way!
I know it’s a short description, but it already sounds fairly generic. One hopes that the finished product will have a little more originality.
From the description there is nothing that sounds like it would make me watch it.
