Are you a fan of Gotham? The FOX TV show has just returned from a long hiatus and is nearing the end of its third season. But, what about a fourth season? If renewed, would you keep watching the Batman prequel series?
The DC Comics drama tells the early stories of police detective James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and iconic Gotham City characters — before they became legendary crimefighters, villains, and heroes. The cast also includes Donal Logue, Morena Baccarin, Sean Pertwee, Robin Lord Taylor, and Erin Richards.
Gotham’s ratings have struggled over the course of its third season. Currently, the show is averaging a 1.13 rating in the 18-49 demo and 3.45 million viewers. While not terrible, these numbers do mark a significant drop from season two, which averaged a 1.40 rating in the 18-49 demo and 4.09 million viewers. Does this mean the fans of Gotham are fleeing the city?
Even though it hasn’t been renewed yet, executive producer John Stephens has teased plans for a fourth season of the FOX series, hinting that Harley Quinn may be the central figure:
We’ll be seeing a Killer Croc proto-vision. We’ll also be seeing a character who, maybe not this season, but in time to come, can be seen as a forerunner to Harley Quinn. … We might see [her] in Episode 22. It’s crazy.”

Love the show!
I love Jim Gordon being a bad boy hero. Just like Batman will be when he grows up. Fish Mooney, penguin, riddler, are all wonderfully original again.
I can’t wait to see cat woman and poison ivy grow up too. It’s a great series to compliment all the comic book films and series. The whole cast, story, and every scene so well depicted. Keep it all and give us more.
I love the show. My son and I don’t miss an episode.
I would prefer they not split the season in two every year, you lose a portion of your audience doing that in my opinion.
I like the main characters and the finale certainly cleaned up the mess. They took out a lot of the loose ends and tightened up to hopefully have a better core story next season.

My wife and I liked the show when it first came on, but became discouraged with the long drawn-out conflicts. We started watching it again the last four weeks of season three, and it has become much more interesting. I (personally), think that maybe the long drawn-out parts were just to wait until the kid that plays Bruce Wayne grew up enough to start being Batman. In the Season Finale, it shows his start. We are interested in seeing how HIS character develops into the Batman we all know and love.
Not if it was the last show on tv and up against reality tv.

I LOVE the show, but I am with 1180024 and all the others who are frustrated with the drawn out conflicts. Let’s resolve them and move on. It can become tedious to always see unjust profit (the bad guys running amuck and coming back to life). And I do hope that the training the real Bruce Wayne is receiving now is the lead into him becoming Batman. It can not end until he becomes Batman and reek havoc on the villains!!!!

Yes, I would keep watching Gotham. However, try not to get caught up in the soap opera way of story plots. For example, keeping conflicts drawn out too long like between Jim Gordon and Lee Thompkins. Another example, bringing back people who suppose to be dead at every corner. Solution: Resolve the conflict quicker and let the dead stay dead, so the few who really does come back would be an unexpected but welcoming come back. It seems like Gotham the walking dead edition.
love the show. would like to see Bruce become batman even if it is in a dream sequence. I would keep watching till the end. AGAIN, LOVE THE SHOW.
