Michael Engler is notorious. Deadline reports that Engler will be directing ABC’s new legal-media drama pilot, Notorious.

Engler has previously directed on 30 Rock, Parenthood, and Six Feet Under.

As we reported earlier, Notorious will chronicle the “relationship between a charismatic attorney and a powerhouse television producer as they attempt to control the media, the justice system, and ultimately – each other.” The drama comes from from Drop Dead Diva creator Josh Berman and Allie Hagan.
