Are you a fan of Outsiders? WGN America just cancelled the TV series after two seasons. What do you think? Do you think it should have been renewed? Would you watch a third season on another channel?
Airing on Tuesday nights, the Outsiders drama follows the Farrell clan, a tight-knit family who reside in the rugged hills of Appalachia and come into conflict with the surrounding population. The cast includes David Morse, Thomas M. Wright, Ryan Hurst, Joe Anderson, Gillian Alexy, Kyle Gallner, Christina Jackson, Francie Swift, and Phyllis Somerville.
Ratings have never been great for Outsiders, but it’s been one of the highest-rated original scripted shows on WGN America. Currently, season two is averaging a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demo and 780,000 viewers — down by 26% in the demo when compared to the first season. Now, it seems that the upcoming season two finale, scheduled for April 25th, will also serve as the series finale.
Or, will it? Sony Pictures Television is reportedly shopping a third season of Outsiders to other outlets. The show’s ratings wouldn’t seem to be a strong selling point but, these days, you never know.

I just got finished watching this show and I wish there was a better ending. I don’t like the way it ended because it seemed that there was just a little bit more that was needed to finish it off. I never got to see it when it first came out and I really enjoyed it. And I’m sure there Won’t be anymore season three because it’s been so many years. Yeah that’s a little disappointing that they didn’t finish this movie.
I am presently watching Outsiders. I love it but am disappointed that there will not be a season 3. Why??? Not enough good shows on television and you cancel one if them!! BRING IT BACK!! SOMEONE PLEASE CONTINUE THIS SHOW!! THANKS

I just discovered the Outsiders on Hulu also. Very disappointed that there are only two seasons. I would love to have another season and more. Can’t wait to see what happens.
Just discovered this show a month ago on hulu and sorely disappointed that only 2 seasons exist definitely a diamond in the rough very much overlooked and forgotten culture one of many in this country sadly our diversity is our strength people need reminded of that, respect yourself by respecting others learn from each other fall away from selfishness and remember the shallowness involved with immediate gratification
