While the second season of USA Network’s Playing House TV show premiered in August of 2015, and the cable channel ordered season three in January of 2016, fans have had to wait a long time for the third season of this comedy series. Although Playing House returns with a two-episode premiere on June 23rd, on June 24th, USA is making the entire season available On Demand, on USA Network, and on the USA Now App. Whether that will boost viewership or not remains to be seen. Has the show been off the air too long to recoup its audience? Will Playing House be cancelled or renewed for season four? Stay tuned.
A USA Network sitcom, Playing House stars Lennon Parham as Maggie Caruso and Jessica St. Clair as Emma Crawford. After Maggie discovers her husband Bruce (Brad Morris) is having an affair, Emma leaves her lucrative job in China, to help her lifelong best friend raise her daughter Charlotte back in their hometown, Pinebrook, Connecticut. In season three, it is Maggie who will save the day for Emma. USA Network teases that their friendship will face its biggest challenge yet.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
