Over the past year, TNT really cleaned house by cancelling several of their drama series. They’re supposedly now favoring “edgier” series. Does Proof, a show that focuses on death and the afterlife, fit with that new strategy? How will it do in the ratings? Will it be cancelled or renewed for a second season? Stay tuned.
On Proof, Doctor Carolyn “Cat” Tyler (Jennifer Beals) recently lost her son, saw her marriage end, and become estranged to her teenage daughter. Cat is persuaded by cancer-stricken billionaire Ivan Turing (Matthew Modine) to search for evidence that death is not the end and this takes her on a deeply personal and emotional journey. The rest of the cast includes David Sutcliffe, Joe Morton, Edi Gathegi, Caroline Rose Kaplan, Callum Blue, and Annie Thurman.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

Yes the show should still be aired for a second season the show was exhilarating exciting and you never know what to expect I think the show should be added for a few more seasons to give the people what they want just because the ratings are not as high as they expected they can only get higher because people are watching them in groups they have the proof night everytime that comes on people get together just to watch that show
I absolutely loved this show. Very bad decision TNT!! This was a great show and you know it! (Just like Agent X awesome show) both very entertaining. If not TNT please other networks bring them back

Please bring back Proof TV show. It was unique and original in its plot and its following was only going to increase. No reason to cancel it. Good, inspiring shows like “Proof” are hard to come by. TNT should have kept it. Bring it back please. Don’t be another TV Star Trek.
