This dramatic series takes up the age-old question: Is death truly the end or, is there something else beyond?
Doctor Carolyn “Cat” Tyler (Jennifer Beals) has gone through some devastating changes in her life lately. She’s lost her her teenage son, seen her marriage with fellow physician Len Barliss (David Sutcliffe) break up, and she’s become estranged from her teenage daughter Sophie (Annie Thurman).
Cat is persuaded by cancer-stricken tech inventor and billionaire Ivan Turing (Matthew Modine) to investigate cases of reincarnation, near-death experiences, hauntings and other phenomena — all of it in the search for evidence that death is not the end.
It’s both a journey of exploration and a deeply personal and emotional journey for Cat, who hopes to find answers in the wake of her son’s death.
Other characters include hospital administrator Doctor Charles Russell (Joe Morton); Cat’s Sudanese intern Doctor Zedan “Zed” Badawi (Edi Gathegi); Ivan’s assistant, Janel Ramsey (Caroline Rose Kaplan); and best-selling author Peter Van Owen (Callum Blue) who claims to be psychic.

I can’t believe this show was cancelled. Please re-think your decision. I really liked all the characters. This was good television!
I thought the show was different which was much needed on TV. I really enjoyed the storyline, the acting – everything was great. I would have loved to see the show renewed for another season. Terribly disappointed!!
Are you kidding me. They cancelled the show. I have been waiting for the new season to start. Someone finally comes up with a thought provoking theme and it gets cancelled. So sick of reality shows. No wonder they call it the boob tube. You have to be a mindless idiot to watch most of the garbage that is on it.
I loved this show and was waiting for a new season. It was forward-thinking. I hope they bring it back. There is a growing awareness that the earth is not flat. Old ideas about what happens after death are changing. For those of us interested in the intersection of science and spirituality these types of shows are valued! Maybe the producers have underestimated the intelligence of the audience out here.
I thoroughly enjoyed Proof and looked forward to each weeks episode with great anticipation! Such a great, well thought out show, with outstanding actors and I certainly hope it returns for many more seasons!
Bring back Proof!
Follow the other’s thoughts here. A truly human perspective for people taking a “scientific” (we all know science just means theory right? That why the term ‘scientific fact’ makes me laugh. Anyway, I digress) approach instead of religious to this issue. There’s certainly undertones of both and this is one of the very few and ever decreasing number of shows I will let my children watch. Please Renew the show Proof and please don’t change the tone of the show, its a really good/quality show……..with all the junk on tv that I don’t watch like 2 broke girls, Lucifer,grim, zombies, any wife show, Dna who’s the daddy shows and how many cooking shows do you need on tv?
I am disappointed this show was cancelled. I have got 8 of my friends to love this show. Too bad the executives prefer to go with real trash tv shows.
I really liked this show so much, It made you think, and wonder,’what if “. I think it gave people a good feeling, maybe comfort or peace. There’s not alot of that these days. You need to bring it back

Why cancel a good show like this when there is so much garbage that should be cancelled.
The TNT executives should bring back Proof. This show is great, and I really looked forward to watching every week. TNT if you don’t renew “You Suck”
