There’s a bit of good news for fans of Red Band Society. Though the show hasn’t been officially cancelled yet, the series performed very poorly in the ratings, didn’t get a full season order, and was dropped from the schedule last month. Essentially, the series is done.
On the positive side, it looks like FOX plans to release the remaining three unaired episodes. A new episode will air on Saturday, January 31st. No further information has been released thus far.
A dramedy, Red Band Society revolves around the young patients and caretakers of the pediatric ward of the renowned Ocean Park Hospital in Los Angeles. The cast includes Octavia Spencer, Dave Annable, Griffin Gluck, Nolan Sotillo, Charlie Rowe, Astro, Zoe Levin, Ciara Bravo, Mandy Moore, and Rebecca Rittenhouse.

I can not believe Red Band Society was canceled. It is a wonderful, wonderful, show. I am very disappointed in FOX.
Please bring it back! I just now started watching it on Hulu and I absolutely loved it! It shows life like it really is and not fairy tales. People could learn a lot about life from this show! So please bring it back!
I loved watching Red Band Society. I am really upset that it may not be coming back. I happen to suffer from CNS Lupus and I was hospitalized for over 2 months and even though I’m not a teenager, I still enjoyed the show tremendously! It helped me keep my own disease in perspective. So very few people even understand what lupus is let alone CNS Lupus and where we live there isn’t any support groups. So it really helped me and I’m sure that it could help others as well! AS A PERSON WHO CAN RELATE TO THE SHOW AND WHAT HEY ARE GOING THRU I THINK IT IS ADAMINT FOR OTHER CHILDREN TO SEE AS WELL AS ADULTS I THINK IF THE SHOW WAS AIRED AT A DIFFERENT TIME ON A DIFFERENT DAY NOT IN DIRECT COMPETITION WITH WELL KNOWN AND LOVED SHOWS THAT IT WOULD HAVE GOTTEN BETTER RATINGS AND MORE VIEWS!!!

Last year I wad hospitalized, not by cancer or any injuries… I was one of those teens struggling in life. I was depressed, lonely, and lost. I had anxieties as well. Please bring back the Red Band Society. This is a great show, with an interesting story line and fantastic characters. They mesh well together and bring an air of genuine compassion to this show. You have actually kept ‘Glee’ around lo-o-n-g after it lost its appeal, its comedy and believable story. It had become stupid a while ago. And yet, it comes back. The characters on RB Society are nice, funny, human and interesting. You see strangers , thrown together, become friends and allies. You see camaraderie and friendship. Please renew this show. as a lot comment suggest please bring back red band society. this is a wonderful show with a lot of inspiration and heart. the actors/actresses are terrific. this is the first series I actually looked forward to watching in a very very long time.
