For the first time, there’s no danger that the Reign TV show will be cancelled by The CW. It’s already been announced that the historical drama series is ending and there won’t be a fifth season. Will it go out with strong ratings or, will they continue to decline? Stay tuned.
Following the devastating loss of her husband, Mary Queen of Scots (Adelaide Kane) saw his young brother take the throne. In season four of Reign, Mary must rise to the challenge to take back her country and establish her rule in Scotland — the land of her birth and now, once again, her home. The CW series also stars Megan Follows, Rachel Skarsten, Celina Sinden, Craig Parker, Rose Williams, Ben Geurens, Dan Jeannotte, Jonathan Goad, Spencer MacPherson, and Will Kemp.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

For comparisons: The third season of Reign averaged a 0.30 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 970,000 total viewers.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
