This show doesn’t need reviving. ABC has renewed their new Resurrection TV series for a second season.
On Resurrection, a small town in Missouri is turned upside down when deceased loved ones start to return. The cast includes Omar Epps, Kurtwood Smith, Frances Fisher, Devin Kelley, Matt Craven, Samaire Armstrong, Mark Hildreth, Sam Hazeldine, and Landon Gimenez.
Following a lot of promotion, this drama debuted to a very strong 3.8 rating with 13.9 million viewers. The ratings have fallen quite a bit in the last few weeks but it’s still generating positive numbers for ABC. The network has had a tough time filling their Sunday night schedule and this is one of only two new ABC dramas that have had any success in the ratings.

Well that sucks! I was looking forward to season 3.
“Resurrection” should be renewed and is an infinite improvement over “The Returned”(US).
Whereas, I could relate to and form a connection with the characters in “Resurrection”, I could only come up with a name for the entities in “The Returned” first as Rombies with powers, then finally changing the name to Rimmortals.
I really miss not being able to see “Resurrection” come to fruition. The show was well written and demonstrated promise.

Please keep this show on…..we love it! It seems as tho every time we start watching a great show, it never comes back on….bring it back, please!!!!
Please keep Resurrection going for another season. I’m so tired of good shows getting canceled and some stupid reality show coming on instead. Lets get rid of some of those ass-a-nine shows. There are way too many of them, and keep the good shows. Resurrection is just starting to get good.

I watched and liked Resurrection. I have been waiting for it to resurrect! I did not know that it was cancelled. However, I see there is now a tv show called Returned along the same lines. Very confusing these storylines that are the same but with different actors. I do like Returned.
PLEASE renew this show! My fiance and I would look forward to it each Sunday!

Look forward to watching this show every week. It’s too bad that the regular schedule keeps getting changed to show sports or other programming at that time slot. If the network kept a steady schedule, you may have those better ratings. Think about this before the network loses regular viewers altogether.
Keep it… It’s great to watch how religion plays a role. It’s captivating and the only show on tv like it
