canceled + renewed TV shows - TV Series Finale

Round Two: Which TV Show Should Be Saved from Being Cancelled?

Chuck and FringeIn the first round of this “smackdown” game, we asked you to make a difficult choice. From a list of more than 30 TV shows that could potentially be cancelled this season, you could vote for only one.

Interestingly, though all series have their fans, some shows didn’t get very many votes at all. When viewers have to choose only one, these got the short end of the stick ‘Til Death, Brothers, the forgotten, and Past Life only received votes totaling in the single digits. Past Life has been cancelled already and the other three almost certainly won’t be returning next season either.

Conversely, six other TV shows are clear favorites. Better Off Ted, Castle, Chuck, Fringe, Medium, and Trauma all received a high percentage of the 1,600 votes cast.

Round Two: Which bubble show should be saved?

  • Trauma (7%)
  • Medium (7%)
  • Fringe (23%)
  • Chuck (24%)
  • Castle (28%)
  • Better Off Ted (12%)

Total Votes: 3,035

Well, now it’s time to move on to the next round of the game. We’ve taken the top six shows from the first round and now you get to vote again. Hopefully round two will be easier than the first.

As always, you can vote only once. At the end of this round, we’ll take the top two programs and ask you to choose again. By the end of round three we’ll have a winner and know which “bubble ” you’d like to see saved most.

Don’t delay, this round closes on Sunday, March 7th. Come on, tell us which bubble show would you save if you had the power to do so?

After you’ve voted, leave a comment below and share your decision. You might just convince someone to follow your lead!

UPDATE: This round has been closed, continue to round three!

I actually like The Forgotten. I haven’t been able to watch it recently though. At least there’s another show on at the same time which is good.

Castle better be here next season. Can you imagine all the outbursts of fans if they cancelled yet another great Nathan Fillion show? If that did happen, he should switch to movies instead of TV shows because movies can’t get cancelled.

Yet another show will no doubt be leaving,Medium is a great show, great drama. All the good shows are gone,or going…Dirty,Sexy,Money…..Swingtown…….Ugly Betty……Merlin…..Cane……Bonnie Hunt just to name a few. So we are left with ten different Law and Orders, ten different CSI’s overdone Ellen and Jerry Springer….lovely.

We’re now addicted to Castle here at this house. It used to be Chuck was our favorite – but, this year has been a massive let down, while Castle has gotten better and more interesting.

Plus, the official Richard Castle books are a fun tie-in that has family and friends reading and talking about it.

Trauma! The show is the best! If I have to save a show it would be Trauma because it is way better that Castle (it was like watching a wanna- be CSI), Chuck (watched it and keeps getting boring), Fringe (never watched it, sounds interesting, but don’t have the time to see it), Medium (a less scary verison of Ghost Whisperer) and Better Off Ted (never seen it and doesn’t sound interesting).

I voted FRINGE because FOX is well known for early cancellations, but NBC better not mess with my geeky super spy Chuck either!

C’mon NBC is sucksville. Might as well keep the few fans they’ve got for one of the only decent shows they have left.

Chuck is number one! One of the funniest shows on, and getting better as it develops, and its original! Castle is weak ( couldn’t bring myself to watch episode 2). Trauma has been done to death ( no pun intended ). The Forgotten has a few people I know watching, as for me the characters were a little to “magical” in how they worked, too quick, too easy. Medium should be thinking about wrapping it up while they still have an audience so everybody is happy. Fringe is X-files meets CSI. Don’t get me wrong, this is a good thing… Read more »

Trauma is a different kind of medical show. It shows how things work after an accident occurs. Usually, similar programs only tell the story from the hospital’s point of view, but Trauma shows the accident, the response of the EMT’s & Paramedics, Firefighters, Police, SWAT Teams, ER, Nurses, Doctors, Interns, etc. It also has the most beautiful scenery on television (how could it not, being filmed entirely in San Francisco)! The relationships of the actors who play these roles, is really heating up & I’m getting extremely interested in seeing what happens! Oh, and besides great acting, some of the… Read more »

I watch all of the shows except Better Off Ted. I understand it is pretty funny, but I can only watch so much TV and still have some kind of life. I voted for Medium, the shows this season on CBS have been good. I’m really tired Of Ghost Whisperer, they lost me with the Jim dies junk.
In order of faves it would be Medium, Castle, Fringe, Trauma, and Chuck.

I watch pretty much all of these but Trauma… If I could only save one, I would have to save Better off Ted. Chuck, Fringe and Medium are right at the top of my list, but they don’t quite make it.

Would be between Castle and Trauma. I have no idea why Castle is on the bubble though. My allegiance is however to Trauma
