At one time, TV Land was known for producing original multi-camera sitcoms with stars of old sitcoms. On The Soul Man, former Las Vegas singer Boyce Ballantine (Cedric the Entertainer) continues his new life as a minister in his father’s St. Louis church. The rest of the cast includes Niecy Nash, John Beasley, Wesley Jonathan, and Missi Pyle.
