The Bachelorette TV show on ABC: ratings (cancel or renew?)

While many ABC shows have declined in the ratings, last summer’s edition of The Bachelorette actually did better than the previous summer’s. Was it a fluke or will the numbers continue to rise? Cancelled or renewed for season 13? Stay tuned.

This time around on The Bachelorette, Joelle “JoJo” Fletcher from Dallas, a 25-year-old real estate developer, is the one looking for love among 26 men. Chris Harrison returns as the host.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival.
