The ratings for the sixth season of The Celebrity Apprentice saw a big drop. NBC didn’t cancel the series but they waited nearly two years before airing the seventh cycle. How will the reality show perform this time around? Will this be the year that it’s cancelled or could it return for season eight? Stay tuned.
On The Celebrity Apprentice, a group of 16 business-savvy personalities perform in challenges as they try to win the competition while raising money and awareness for the favorite charities. Contestants this time around are Vivica A. Fox, Shawn Johnson, Terrell Owens, Lorenzo Lamas, Kenya Moore, Leeza Gibbons, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Geraldo Rivera, Johnny Damon, Gilbert Gottfried, Brandi Glanville, Kate Gosselin, Ian Ziering, Jamie Anderson, Sig Hansen, and Kevin Jonas.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival.
