What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the Spike cable channel, The Mist stars Morgan Spector, Alyssa Sutherland, Gus Birney, Danica Curcic, Okezie Morro, Luke Cosgrove, Darren Pettie, Russell Posner, Dan Butler, Isiah Whitlock Jr., and Frances Conroy. After the Copeland family’s daughter is brutalized, an ominous mist overwhelms the town of Bridgeville, Maine. In the mist are countless, confusing, and concerning threats. Family, friends, and even enemies form unusual alliances, as they fight the enigmatic mist and the threats therein. Whether they will be able to remain moral and sane — as the fabric of society unravels — remains to be seen.
Season One Ratings

Telly’s Take
It’s tough to use the ratings to predict if Spike will cancel or renew The Mist for season two because they don’t have other scripted shows. Spike is rebranding as Paramount Network in 2018. Also, its parent company — Viacom — has been shifting shows around from other channels like TV Land, to build up the Spike/Paramount scripted slate. Flying a bit blind, I expect The Mist will score a second season renewal. In April, Kevin Kay, President of Spike/Paramount Network, TV Land and CMT even said season two is possible. It’s all about money and numbers now a days . Why give people a season 1 in the first place ? If it’s only going to be about the numbers . Sometimes it just takes time for the tv show to get popular ! ! ! Don’t be so impatient . I just started watching it 2 days ago . Finished it tonight just to find out it’s CANCELLED??!! Stop giving the viewers, whom give you numbers cliff hangers ! I’m sick of it at least just finish it with season 2 & leave it there !

This is so disturbing….The show is end on Season 1? That’s so unfair. You guys let us watch the season1 and let us hope for the season2. and now you guys just cancelled without any possible and clear answers or excuses. We are just a joke to you guys ? Why make a season 1 without the season 2 finale? I want to see justice for the rapist. And I want to figure out Jonah’s secrets. Plus why are they feeding the mist at the end. I need a season 2 to complete my answers. Has me on the edge begging for more
Typing crap here will not get you what you want . Do you REALY think networks producers writers advertisers read this? Time to move on – it’s just a tv show . There are thousands of tv shows and way to many tv channels – there’s way to much compition these days – that’s why shows on reliable networks CBS abc fox nbc have shows that run for years and decades – cable networks that people have to pay to watch don’t have reliable viewers because there’s always another new show – the show.
