The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

I think there should be a second season the tomorrow ppl kept me on my toes at the end of literally every episode CW is always making mistakes and I love star crossed they all froze Omg I love the tomorrows ppl and star crossed
This show was cool and once again CW give a good show the axe. If they were smart CW would look into the view on Netflix, and see the market there. TTP had so many possibilities and was very entertaining.
I saw it on Netflix love the show I enjoyed very much and cw kinda sucks there always taken good shows off there site !! . I would like it to continue as they should continue for the fans who cares how many fans out there what about the ones who are ? it should matter to them who are fans of this show ,It is sad to see yet another show cancelled by CW. I really think there should be a second season i couldn’t wait to see more … EVEN 5 or 20 i really liked this show for The tomorrow people fans who really liked it should not be left out
I can’t stand it when they end shows with viewers wanting more ! At least finish the story line! There should definitely be a second season!
I did not know of The Tomorrow People Show, until watching Netflix. I fell in love with the characters of the series. I would like to see someone kill Natalie over and over several times and why not make Steven reset time before his father is defrosted from his tomb, Steven will be the only one who thinks he sees the future but doesn’t know the events he put in motion. John and Cara make the hottest chemistry, I always want to know what will happen in their relationship, but could the writer’s make them be the couple to stay… Read more »
I enjoyed the drama. I saw it on Netflix and it nearly had 5 star ratings. I would like it to continue as they should continue the drama for their fans (as that’s all that matters). It’s not a good way to end the drama
I am so irritated to keep finding out all of these shows i love wont have anymore seasons stop pytting them on netflix if your not goanna continue the like the 100,star crossed, and the tommorow people your killin me people

It is sad to see yet another show cancelled by CW. Why have it available to watch on Netflix? We need to promote the shows we want to bring back a second season so that most of us are not left hanging.

maybe the reason there were low viewers are because you need to make an advertisement that would want people to watch it
So are we never going to find out what happens to john and Astrid? He told her he would make it up to her but then has to forget her completely?! What kind of an ending is that?
So I literally just finished the last episode of season one, hoping there was a season two, but nope. As soon as I finished it, I went straight to Google to find out what happened and then I hear that there isn’t going to be a second season? Now what am I going to do for the rest of the summer?!
