The Vampire Diaries revolves around the search for love and the battle between good and evil in the supernatural-charged town of Mystic Falls, Virginia. The cast includes Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Kat Graham, Candice King, Zach Roerig, Matt Davis, and Michael Malarkey.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival.
