Will there be more Vampire Diaries? According to E!, The CW wants another season of the supernatural series.
The network has already renewed the vampire drama for an eighth season, which will continue on Fridays this fall.
At this week’s upfront presentation, CW head Mark Pedowitz said he doesn’t want season eight to be the last season:
No decisions have been made for one way or another whether or not this is the final season. In my dreams it isn’t.”
Though season seven ratings dropped slightly, they remained consistent with season six, receiving an average of .46 in the 18-49 demo and a total of 1.14 million viewers. Additionally, the show still retains a strong fan base.

Let me say I love the Originals and Vampire Diaries with Hope being dropped off at the Salvatore school does it give us Fans a chance to see them all again in a cross over? Sure hope soo! They are my farmost favorite shows. Cannot see Klaus not ever being able to see his dtr again just so not the Klaus I would expect he would have to find away around the spell and we all know how much he loves challenges. Yes make more the vampire diaries. Continuing to show I love watching and would love to play in the vampire diaries one day when they renew the show again
The vampire Diaries NEEDS another season. Or two, or three. The vampire diaries and the originals is my two favorite shows and i would love to see another season. If Paul Wesley leaves the show i will be so mad. So many other shows are getting canceled or are on there last episodes. PLEASE do another season or two!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks <3
I WOULD LUVVV another season or two or three. So many shows are being cancelled but we are still praying for a reprieve for this show. The networks arent giving the audience time to get invested on new shows before pulling the plug! That is another reason that we cling to our old favourites. TVD Forever!!

Get rid of The Vampire Diaries book way better than the show itself so would cancelled it after season 8 because The CW doesn’t want show to end hard on actor need actually end it next season suppose to short season please do like channel do it end good show.
