TV shows don’t run forever and neither do websites.
After more than two decades, this is the end of the road for TVSeriesFinale.com. The site will remain online as a resource for the time being but there are no plans to update it.
As you know, television has changed a lot over the past couple of decades. The economics of running a television website have also changed. You may have noticed that many news-related sites have struggled and/or closed over the years and this one is no exception.
For this site, it’s mostly come down to a decline in ad revenue and a steep drop of traffic from search engines (thanks AI generated answers). It’s also become more and more difficult to access relevant ratings data. It also hasn’t helped that some corporate sites have made deals to receive (EXCLUSIVE) access to press releases days ahead of independent sites like this one.
I’m certainly not complaining. This site has grown far bigger than I ever could have expected (57,000 posts!) when I started it in 2005. At one point, it drew more traffic than Toyota’s site. However, now that the 2025-26 TV season has come to a close, it feels like the right time to wrap things up.
Just one or two people have been running this website for almost all of its run. I want to publicly thank Regina Avalos for her daily devotion for the past 11 years. Her hard work has been essential in keeping the site going and it has been very much appreciated.
Whether you are a newer reader or one who’s been along for the ride for decades, thanks for visiting.
It’s been a great run.

This is a sad day for sure. Are there any similar sites you would recommend?
We’ll definitely miss being able to keep up with what’s new, what’s returning, what’s not returning, etc. Such a shame! All the best in your future endeavours!
I’m very sorry to hear that you’re closing up shop. Your site has been an incredible resource over the years, and I’m surprised to learn that only one or two people have been responsible for it. Thanks for your hard work and dedication.
Thank you so much for your efforts these past many years. You provided such valuable information for both current news and future show releases. I’m sorry it is ending. Do you know of any other sites that provides similar information- especially about shows being approved and developed so they can be put on future watch lists. Thank you for all you have done. Best wishes for a very bright future.

dang i’m sad to see this, i have used this site for years to get info about shows 🙁 i wish you the best
Many thanks for all your years of devotion to this site. Wouldn’t you agree that AI is not only costing society as a whole unholy amounts of money, it also requires that mankind has to sacrifice the internet as we have known it for 30 years?
No-one can keep a business alive. Not with effort from small entrepreneurs like yourselves or with the slop AI is producing.
Thanks for all you have done, for sure a sad day
Thank you for the amazing work that you have done (mostly unnoticed until now) for the past two decades. You have empowered me to be the grim reaper of TV to my friends and for that I cannot thank you enough.
Thank you for your hard work.
