TV shows don’t run forever and neither do websites.
After more than two decades, this is the end of the road for TVSeriesFinale.com. The site will remain online as a resource for the time being but there are no plans to update it.
As you know, television has changed a lot over the past couple of decades. The economics of running a television website have also changed. You may have noticed that many news-related sites have struggled and/or closed over the years and this one is no exception.
For this site, it’s mostly come down to a decline in ad revenue and a steep drop of traffic from search engines (thanks AI generated answers). It’s also become more and more difficult to access relevant ratings data. It also hasn’t helped that some corporate sites have made deals to receive (EXCLUSIVE) access to press releases days ahead of independent sites like this one.
I’m certainly not complaining. This site has grown far bigger than I ever could have expected (57,000 posts!) when I started it in 2005. At one point, it drew more traffic than Toyota’s site. However, now that the 2025-26 TV season has come to a close, it feels like the right time to wrap things up.
Just one or two people have been running this website for almost all of its run. I want to publicly thank Regina Avalos for her daily devotion for the past 11 years. Her hard work has been essential in keeping the site going and it has been very much appreciated.
Whether you are a newer reader or one who’s been along for the ride for decades, thanks for visiting.
It’s been a great run.

Thank you for all your time and effort. I am really going to miss your site and all the information you provided. Enjoy the time freed up from working on it!
I have been coming to this website for years. It’s gonna be weird seeing it gone. Thank you TV Series Finale!
As retirees in our 70’s, we go back to the good ol’ days of just 3 TV networks plus PBS. TV shut-down around 10 pm & went live again @ 7 or 8 am with test patterns in the interim. (AND the National Anthem when it started every morning) In Iowa, there were no programs on Sunday afternoon either! We eventually got a subscription to TV Guide but that is no longer the magazine it was although some of the changes (larger magazine) are positive. We understand why you are pulling back; in a word “rats!”. However we’ll follow what… Read more »
Thanks for all the good work you did. Where am I going to get my info now ?

Thank you so much for all the hard work and devotion you have put in to keep us in the know. I’ve been following you since I don’t know when, but it’s been a long time !! I’ve enjoyed every second I’ve spent on your site !! I will certainly miss you !! Thank you so much and best to you in the rest of your life !! Stay safe.
I am sorry to see this site close. I check it everyday and it has helped me plan my TV watching schedule, especially with upcoming debuts or news of cancellations. You will be missed!
Thanks for all of your work and information. I think streaming wrecked tv. I like network tv and this site. Good luck to you. Come back if you change your mind. It would be a big plus for me.
Gonna miss the site. Been a dailyr driver for at least 6 to 7 years now
Wow! Really hate to see you guys close up shop, but do understand. Been using this site for so long, and will miss it. I wish you all nothing but good wishes in your next endeavor.
This is my first comment ever on this website.
I can`t remember when exactly I discovered you, but it was at least eight years ago, maybe sooner.
I came here every day at least once to stay informed.
You have been one of the very best sources for TV news I could ever find on the internet.
I am really sad now and I’m going to miss you a lot.
Thank you very very much for everything.

Oh,,shock…. I followed your site so, so long. Thank you very much for all your afford and all the years full of tv and rating informations. Wish you all the best 🙂
So sorry to see you go. It was nice to know I could find info about shows in one place. Searching does not give you what you want most of the time.
I discovered your website 13 years ago and for years and years it was part of my daily routine to come on here and check the daily ratings and talk to people. Sadly, TV started to change radically and things went downhill fast especially during Covid. That was around the time that I stopped coming to check the ratings daily and would only come from time to time, but it was never the same because TV was just not the same. If only Nielsen had been able to release relevant ratings information on streaming daily like it did with network… Read more »

Dear Trevor
I would like to thank you and all who were involved in this website. Your site was bookmarked on top of all my bookmarks, and it was the first to access whenever I turn on my PC. Your information and dedication has made a difference in my life.
Thank you and I wish you the best for anything you will pursue.
