TV shows don’t run forever and neither do websites.
After more than two decades, this is the end of the road for TVSeriesFinale.com. The site will remain online as a resource for the time being but there are no plans to update it.
As you know, television has changed a lot over the past couple of decades. The economics of running a television website have also changed. You may have noticed that many news-related sites have struggled and/or closed over the years and this one is no exception.
For this site, it’s mostly come down to a decline in ad revenue and a steep drop of traffic from search engines (thanks AI generated answers). It’s also become more and more difficult to access relevant ratings data. It also hasn’t helped that some corporate sites have made deals to receive (EXCLUSIVE) access to press releases days ahead of independent sites like this one.
I’m certainly not complaining. This site has grown far bigger than I ever could have expected (57,000 posts!) when I started it in 2005. At one point, it drew more traffic than Toyota’s site. However, now that the 2025-26 TV season has come to a close, it feels like the right time to wrap things up.
Just one or two people have been running this website for almost all of its run. I want to publicly thank Regina Avalos for her daily devotion for the past 11 years. Her hard work has been essential in keeping the site going and it has been very much appreciated.
Whether you are a newer reader or one who’s been along for the ride for decades, thanks for visiting.
It’s been a great run.

You will be missed, such a great page!
Thank you for all the hard work through the years. Much appreciated!
Can anyone recommend similar page? Just info, no drama and spam, no clickbait titles.
I suggest checking out The Futon Critic. You can subscribe to receive emails about specific shows.
While I am sad, I do understand. Regardless of the EXCLUSIVES, I have been at a point where I was checking this site DAILY for TV/Movie news or to confirm something I read somewhere else. Thank you for the service that you provided and I wish you the best in your future endeavors.
Wish some would take it over!! 🙁
Good morning,
this is really disappointing and sad news. I really appreciate this site and all of the content that your two have shared with us over the years. A very heartfelt thank you for being here for all of us.

This has been my source of information for years, its very sad to read this, but I also understand that sometimes you just have to move on. Thank you Trevor for keeping us updated and engaged with your quizzes and giveaways. I remember I once won a Supernatural giveaway, but couldnt receive the prize (my luck geez) haha. Take care! Goodbye tvseriesfinale
I wish this wasn’t so. This is one of my favorite sites and I look forward to reading it on a daily basis. I’ve been a fan since the beginning. All of your hard work is very much appreciated. Very sad.
Damn. Disappointed but I get it. Thanks for everything. Been around since 2016. You will be missed greatly.
What? Nooo. Many of us appreciate what you do. There’s only one site left to my knowledge.
What’s the one site?
I suggest checking out The Ratings Guide.
Man! This sux. I loved the format you used, it was so useful to my TV related tasks. IsMyTVShowCancelled is similar, but sad that I have to become familiar with it’s format. Thank you for your years of service.
Boo. All things must end. Sorry it was your turn.
NOOOOOOOOO!! YALL WAS MY GO TO!
I’m sayin. Me too.
This was the first television site I came across and because of the reporting here found places like TV Line and Deadline. Have always come back here regularly since there is less junk than most other sites. Wishing the team the best for future endeavors.
