From Undateable to mother/daughter comedy. TVLine reports Undateable star Briga Heelan has been cast in Tina Fey’s new NBC comedy pilot.
Heelan also appears in Netflix’s new series, Love.
Written by Tracey Wigfield, the untitled comedy will feature Heelan as a TV producer whose mother joins her workplace as an intern. Andrea Martin has been cast as the mother.
The comedy is being produced by Fey and Robert Carlock.

Briga Heelan rocks. She is a really funny actress. From Undateable, Ground Floor and now Love, Briga continues to impress me as an actress. I’m surprised she has not starred in more TV shows/movies. She is good at comedy and Tina Fey has picked the best actress for her new comedy series.
