Those poor people of Chester’s Mill aren’t getting out just yet. CBS has renewed their Under the Dome TV show for a third season. It’s expected that the new episodes will run next summer and that there will be 13 installments once again.
Under the Dome revolves around residents of Chester’s Mill in Maine after a large transparent dome cuts them off from the world. Those on the inside must work to survive with limited resources and rising tension. The large cast includes Mike Vogel, Rachelle Lefevre, Natalie Martinez, Britt Robertson, Alexander Koch, Nicholas Strong, Colin Ford, Mackenzie Lintz, Jolene Purdy, Aisha Hinds, Dean Norris, Eddie Cahill, and Karla Crome.
Though the ratings for season two dropped quite a bit, Under the Dome remained CBS’ top-rated scripted series of the summer and remains profitable for the network, mostly because of deals with Amazon and overseas distributors. Episodes supposedly make the network $2.5 million each in profit before they even air.

I have been waiting for Under the Dome to return. I love this show. I know it will have to end but please not before all the questions have been answered. Have you set a date for it’s return if so please publish it for all of us fans.
I had seen aired that the new season for Under the Dome was going to be in April. I really enjoyed watching this series, but need more answers. Can you clarify when the 2015 season for Under the Dome will begin? It’s very difficult waiting. PLEASE KEEP IT ON THE AIR!!!!!

Please leave show on, their aren’t many good show left on TV. Take off Big Brother, Party Down South, and all the dirty stuff on TV. Go on a 4th also. When y’all get a good show you take it off. PLEASE LEAVE THIS ONE ALONE!!!!

Yes please renew it we love it too and as mentioned previously there are just too many unaswered questions left hanging. WE NEED ANSWERS. Also as others have said too many good shows get cancelled or taken off the air just when you get into them what happened to long series. Seems we watch a show for 8 weeks and all of a sudden its the season finally (sounds like mini series to me). then you loose track of them off air too long and get interested in something else. Come on people put it together again… PLEASE
Keep this one alive for now. A lot of unanswered questions for this show. I want to reinterate Cynthia Beddicks comment. Everytime theres a decent show on cbs you folks cancel it. Its a darned shame people want to watch “stupid is as stupid does” types of shows vs quality story lines. This has a good story line.
Put it on for another season but wrap it up. It’s getting tedious.

PLEASE renew Under the Dome! As a wife, mother of three and a full time nurse I do not watch a lot of TV! This one I actually looked forward to and planned events around to be able to watch! I love this series. Please keep the story line going!!
