After a year away, 2 Broke Girls is back on Monday nights. The CBS series’ ratings dropped once again in season five but the network renewed it anyway. Will this be the final season? Will the show be cancelled or renewed for a seventh season? Stay tuned.
On 2 Broke Girls, streetwise Max Black (Kat Dennings) and formerly-wealthy Caroline Channing (Beth Behrs) work in a greasy diner (which they now partially own). The unlikely partners try to earn enough money to pay their bills and continue to develop their cupcake business. The sitcom co-stars Garrett Morris, Jonathan Kite, Matthew Moy, and Jennifer Coolidge.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
4/18 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
For comparisons: The fifth season of 2 Broke Girls averaged a 1.61 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 6.42 million total viewers (live + same day ratings).
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you still like the 2 Broke Girls TV series on CBS? Do you think there should be a season seven?
5/12 update: 2 Broke Girls has been cancelled by CBS. Details here.
The show always give me a chuckle and raises my spirits. I’d really like to see it progress to more seasons.
Please keep this show. Great escape from daily life!!!
I like this show its one of your better comic shows please keep it on. Marilyn
Please keep the show running. It’s one of my favorites. Caroline Channing and Max Black keep me up in my rainy days.
Bring back the show. Please don’t cancel. I love this show.
I love two broke girls and it should stay on
I love that show !
There thould be a season 7 because not only have we all been on a journey with these girls it’s like they are apart of us and we love seeing how they went from barely having anything to having this amazing desert bar and it would be a shame to not be able to continue the journey with them. also there are things that happened at the end of season 6 that i need to see happen in season 7
Yes of course their should be a season 7, we have all watched these 2 girls and Co stars, working towards a goal. Developing their personalites, we’ve been with them the hole journey, and right on the climax of max’s engagement and carolines first chance of a keeper boyfriend. You then pull the plug, leaving us all hanging. 2 Broke girls isn’t just a progress in working. It’s a home from home, a comedy and a relaxer from the day to day stresses of real life.
Please bring the girls back. There must be a season 7. My daughter and I enjoy watching this show so much. We always have a good laugh at every episode… Please 🙁
