Are you a fan of American Crime? Season three of the TV series just premiered on ABC, but what about another the future? Should the network renew the show for a fourth season?
From John Ridley, the anthology drama explores a new crime in a new setting each season. The current season follows Luis Salazar (Benito Martinez), a father who travels illegally from Mexico to the United States in search of his son. The cast also includes Felicity Huffman, Regina King, Connor Jessup, and Richard Cabral.
The ratings for American Crime have never been high, and it looks like season three will be the lowest-rated one yet. So far, the season is averaging a 0.45 rating in the 18-49 demo and only 2.29 million viewers, making it ABC‘s lowest-rated series for the 2016-2017 season.
However, the show has received considerable critical acclaim. The first two seasons have earned American Crime a total of 14 Emmy nominations, including two wins for star Regina King.
What do you think? Should ABC renew American Crime for a fourth season or, should the series finally be cancelled?
