Battle Creek revolves around two mismatched law enforcement officers — Detective Russ Agnew (Dean Winters) and FBI Special Agent Milton Chamberlain (Josh Duhamel) — who have polar opposite views of the world and end up being partners. The rest of the cast includes Janet McTeer, Kal Penn, Aubrey Dollar, and Edward Fordham Jr.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. My husband and I were wondering when Battle Creek was coming back on only to learn it has been cancelled. What’s wrong with you people. Good actors, good writing, a darn good show and someone at CBS has to mess it all up by cancelling it. Hope another network picks it up because we hate to lose good TV to the powers that be.
I warmed up slowly to the series and characters; but then wound up really enjoying it! I hope they decide to renew the show…it seems that they keep the trash and cancel the better shows. It’s becoming increasingly difficult to find an interesting show, with like able characters, and good actors; and to find yourself actually looking forward to the next episode.
Love battle creek! I hope someone picks up another season.
Just binge watched the season one on NetFlix. Really enjoyed it a lot and will recommend it to others to watch. Hoping CBS brings it back or someone else, (NetFlix?) picks it up. Fun to watch and try to out guess the plot lines.
Cancelling Battle Creek is a Huge Mistake. In this day and age with audiences craving something different, craving a show that captures your attention with suspense, humor, creativity, etc and Battle Creek is That Show. Most shows are painfully predictable but not Battle Creek. This show has been exceedingly and refreshingly unpredictable and has provided a much needed unique humor which is precisely what today’s viewer wants. We would really like to see another season of Battle Creek.. Watched every episode on Netflix and have become fans. Great show!
I started watching the show on Netflix and I love it. I started searching for it and found it was on CBS. Now I’m hearing that CBS wants to cancel, no way. Give it another chance.
