Booth and Bones will be back for an 11th season on FOX. The network has renewed their Bones comedic crime procedural series reports Deadline.
Bones revolves around a married couple who use their skills as an FBI agent (David Boreanaz) and a forensic anthropologist (Emily Deschanel) to solve difficult cases. The show’s cast also includes Michaela Conlin, TJ Thyne, Tamara Taylor, and John Francis Daley.
Series producer 20th Century Fox TV has made a new deal with both Deschanel and Boreanaz for season 11. Their contracts expire at the end of the current 10th season.
Also behind-the-scenes, executive producer Jonathan Collier and co-executive producer Michael Peterson have been named as new showrunners while previous showrunner Stephen Nathan takes some time away.
Season-to-date, Bones has been averaging a 1.26 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 5.43 million viewers. Year-to-year, that’s down by 27% and 18% in the respective categories.
This season, the show’s fans had to endure a nearly four month hiatus. FOX is still having ratings challenges so, even with these ratings declines, Bones still looks pretty good.

NOT LAST YEAR, I HOPE I’m GLAD they are renewing . Maybe if they stopped moving it around and not so much hiatus , and counted older viewers, they’d find their faithful audience who actually BUY products. LOVE THE QUALITY AND THOUGHTFULNESS OF THE SHOW.
I love the series and would love to see it last forever. I am so excited that Bones is gonna have another baby. And i have loved David Boreanz since he was Angel and still love this role. Im tickled we get at leats one more season.

I am also happy to have Bones renewed. Maybe ratings aren’t up because it’s almost impossible to find it. The last show was replaced with Tom Brady news conference. I also miss Sweets. I really love this show.
I am very happy to hear there will be an 11th season. Also, they announced new production leaders which may help revive Bones to where in was S1 – S6. I sure hope they do, I came back to TV after shunning it all for 7 years only due to being tipped off that I would like Bones. I became a huge fan. And, it is the only show I watch. I’m thrilled! I’ve loved this show for 10 years. I just want the show runners and writers to allow Booth and Brennan to show the chemistry that these two have together. This has not been the old B&B this season. Tell Emily to curl her hair and wear cuter clothes and David to shave! But I’ll take them any old way.

I am glad that FOX kept this good show when they cancelled Backstrom. At least here is a reason to find the FOX channel.

Hooray! I’ve been watching Bones since Day One and am glad they are renewed. I hope they tie things together next season for a finale IF it is their last. Now, I’m waiting to hear that Blue Bloods has been renewed, my other FAVE show.
