Nia Vardalos is coming to The Catch. Deadline reports the My Big Fat Greek Wedding actress has been cast in the new ABC series.
The Catch stars Mireille Enos as a top private investigator who must find her fiancé (Peter Krause) after he cons her out of millions and disappears.
Vardalos will reportedly play Leah Wells, “neurotic but formidable counterfeiter.”
This is not the first time the actress has appeared in a Shonda Rhimes series. In 2012, Vardalos guest-starred on Grey’s Anatomy.

I’ll reserve judgement until I actually see her on the show… I’m not a big fan of hers so time will tell. As for the show, I love it!

This show is SLICK. Love the photography of LA as well as the plots in each of the two episodes so far. I hope ABC gives it a chance to grow!
