TBS has already announced that season six will be the final round for Cougar Town so fans don’t have to worry about it being cancelled this time. The ratings fell quite a bit last season. Will they rise in the final year — so the TBS execs regret not ordering a seventh season — or will the ratings drop even lower? We’ll have to wait and see.
Cougar Town continues to follow Jules Cobb (Courteney Cox) and her wine-loving friends and family in Gulfhaven, Florida. The rest of the cast includes Christa Miller, Busy Philipps, Dan Byrd, Josh Hopkins, and Ian Gomez. Brian Van Holt departed at the start of the season.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.
Final season averages: 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.08 million total viewers.
