The series was once CBS’ top-rated show but those days are long gone and it’s now time for the original CSI: Crime Scene Investigation TV series to end. There won’t be a 16th season but there will be a conclusion.
Debuting in October 2000, CSI follows Las Vegas crime scene investigators as they try to solve bizarre cases. This season’s castmates are Ted Danson, Elisabeth Shue, George Eads, Jorja Fox, Eric Szmanda, Robert David Hall, Wallace Langham, David Berman, Elisabeth Hamois, and Jon Wellner.
While CBS is ending CSI as a series they are planning to wrap up the show with a two-hour movie. It will air on Sunday, September 27th, and feature several castmembers who have populated the series over its tenure — including original stars William Petersen and Marg Helgenberger.
Danson, who’s been with the series since the 12th season, will then relocate and become a regular castmember on CSI: Cyber — the latest spin-off series that stars Patricia Arquette and James Van Der Beek.

I wish the 16th season (of CSI: Las Vegas) is still running at their TV station
The story that I’m talking about is a senior citizen who found dead at the barnyard. The team didn’t know how he was found there. At the end, the case is remain unsolved.
CSI: was gone. I want to create my story for the first episode of the sixteenth season. But, it’s cancelled
I am EXTREMELY saddened that CSI will no longer be as this was 1 of the only shows I looked forward to. Was also quite saddened to hear of CSI Miami will no longer be as well. I strongly felt that CSI was well made & kept my attention throughout. Going to be hard finding another show that can keep me as entertained.
Please bring back CSI best show ever!!
I will miss CSI. It has been a staple television show for me to watch since it’s debut. I love all the characters and have been fascinated to learn about the many different facets of being a CSI.
