Just in time for Halloween, Hulu has announced their upcoming new series Freakish will premiere in October.
From Beth Szymkowski, the horror series follows a group of high schoolers struggling against predatory mutants who have taken over their town after a chemical plant meltdown. The cast includes Leo Howard, Liza Koshy, Adam Hicks, Aislinn Paul, Meghan Rienks, Melvin Gragg, Tyler Chase, and Mary Mouser.
The first season of Freakish will debut on Hulu in October.

Synopsis: During Saturday detention, bells ring signaling a containment drill and evacuation – not out of the ordinary for a town with a large chemical plant. The 20 students and the basketball coach retreat to the school fallout shelter for the duration of the drill. Only it’s not a drill… When the sirens stop and they return to the school lobby, they find their town has been decimated by an explosion. They see no signs of life outside their high school’s front doors. More frightening, those who were not in the bunker appear to be infected…”

If they don’t make a second season of Freakish I am going to be so sad. I stayed up all night finishing season 1 because the first episode had me hooked. 5 starts for me
finished freakish in one night it left me with so many questions I hope they make season 2 because I’m hooked 5 stars from me
I can’t wait for season 2, the first season only took me 3-4 hours to watch because I couldn’t get enough of it!!!! Make a 2nd season!!!!!!
I really think that Freakish should come out with a second season. I vary much enjoyed watching it all in one day. Please make a second season.

Why would fans of The Walking Dead switch to a new show? That would reveal them to not be true fans. I am sure there is enough room to watch both shows. I just finished watching Freakish, and while I enjoyed it I certainly would not give up The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Outlander, or even The Goldbergs to watch it! The show killed my favorite character in the finale, so I don’t know quite how I feel about season two right now. best series to me….The walking dead, Freakish, Z nation, into the badlands, Ash vs Evil dead, AgentS of S.H.I.E.L.D, Mac. Gyver, & Van Helsing, Now i’m waiting for these awesome series.
OMG!!! My husband n I just finished season 1 of Freakish in one night n SOOO ready for the next season it has us wanting more. Freakish n The Walking Dead so far are the top 2 in our book 2 thumbs up 5 stars if we could rate it
