Game of Thrones Season Seven Debuts on HBO July 16th
In July of 2016, we reported that although Game of Thrones has typically premiered in April, the season seven kickoff would be delayed until summer. Production purposefully began later than usual, to allow the crew to better depict winter in Westeros.
Later, in December of 2016, star Iain Glen said the producers were taking as much time to make the seven episode installment as they usually spent on a regular ten-episode season.

Waiting way to long for season 7. And if the truth is being told and there’s only 7 episodes then I fill like someone is really pushing their luck!! People will get tired of waiting and soon just forget all about the show they were so into…..boredom will set in and people will find something else their into. #dont be stupid y’all have a good show don’t mess it up.
Yeah I know!! Like, movies, amirite? What’s with this “Alien:Covenant”?? Why not just call it “Alien” right? Or did I forget something? It has been a long time since the 80’s.
Glad that it finally has a return date, but having to wait over a year for only 7 episodes seems kind of like a rip-off. If we had to wait this long we should just get the final 13 in one season instead of having to wait another year for the final 6.
Yeah, I feel the same way about movies. Ya’ll gonna make me wait more than 2 years for 4 hour of Avengers?! **** that noise!! That’s like 4 episodes of TV time, that’s far far worse than Game of Thrones!!! BOYCOTT AVENGERS!!!!
Can’t wait until July 16th. Season Seven of GoT is going to be awesome.
